Project Pluryn in Groesbeek
In 2025, we supported Pluryn in Groesbeek, a care institution for young people aged 16 and older with intellectual disabilities and behavioral challenges. In just 24 hours, with the help of many volunteers, donated materials, and generous contributions, we completely transformed the shared living room of the residence.
The impact of this project went far beyond the physical space; it touched the residents, their parents, and the dedicated professionals who work there.
This marked a meaningful start to our activities with the Gettinvolved Foundation and demonstrates what is possible when people come together around a shared vision.
Our Project for Ukrainian Refugees
Together with an amazing group of volunteers, the Gettinvolved Foundation hosted a unforgettable afternoon and evening of connection for Ukrainian refugees aged 4 to 80, living at a local refugee center.
This special day was the result of months of fundraising, dedicated effort, and the overwhelming generosity of everyone who contributed to making it happen.
We kicked off the afternoon with a packed program for the kids—filled with arts and crafts, outdoor games, football, and a lively bingo session. In the evening, all residents gathered for a delicious BBQ, followed by a final round of bingo to round off the day.
More than the activities and good food, it was about creating a space of pure joy, care, connection, and making sure everyone felt genuinely seen.
